Bellavista is one of our mission sites in the jungle. Our interns spent the first block of the summer in Bellavista, spending time with the community and building Christ-led relationships. They ran several days of Vacation Bible School, helped the community with a work project, and hosted fun events for the youth.

During the second block of the summer, our team of interns split up to work on separate projects. Two of our interns had the opportunity to host a team, while the other two interns acted as a small team of their own. They did work with several ministry sites, including Buen Pastor, Dios es Amor, and Cristo Liberador.

During the first half of the summer, we only had the opportunity to host one team. Due to the risks of COVID, we were unable to find many teams to host this summer. Our interns did an excellent job hosting this team as they worked with Second Chances.
