The community of Carmen Bajo is situated on a hill in Quito, and while the unemployment rate is at about 70%, the people embody resilience and perseverance. Many of the jobs that are held are in manual labor. The churches that are located in this community are twofold: one holds the center for social services and the other is where church services are held.
Pastor Fabian and Grace Erazo
Beginning their work in 2000, Pastor Fabian and his wife Grace have been closely knit to the community of Carmen Bajo. Fabian is the lead church pastor, and Grace leads the children's ministry and the kindergarten located on site. They now have a four-story space for all of the church activities.
